Worship Team
HCBC Worship Ministry is made up of a group of people who love worshipping, serving and helping people experience God’s presence by facilitating musical worship experiences. We are passionate about identifying and developing people to use their gifts for God. Whether it’s music, visual art, or running a sound board, computer or camera, true worship comes from the heart. We strive to use these gifts to give language to our worship, exalting God and inviting Him to center stage each week.
In each worship service, the worship band consists of a rhythm guitarist, a bassist, a drummer, a pianist, keyboardist, vocalists and tambourine dancers.
“Praise him with the tambourine and dancing; praise him with strings and flutes!” — Psalm 150:4
Our musicians are separated into two teams on a 2-week rotation, while vocalists and tambourine dancers on a 4-5 week rotation. We rehearse twice a week: every Saturday evenings from 4.45pm – 6.30pm, and Sunday mornings from 8.30am – 9.15am before pre-worship starts.
PA Ministry
The PA Ministry is responsible for the use of church’s audio, visual and lighting technology during regular Sunday and other special services. The team also ensures that our praise and worship and pastor’s sermon is clearly projected to be seen and heard without distraction or interference, records audio during regular church services and other special meetings.
They are stewards of the equipment, stage setup, and play a tremendous role in making a service happen.
